A member of the public disputed a staff report’s assessment that a variance would have little or no impact on neighbouring properties, the draft minutes of the June 23 Local Trust Committee meeting say.[1]

The speaker said a dwelling encroached onto their property, tree removal had affected it, and unresolved encroachments and boundary structures created concerns about maintenance, access, drainage, repairs and safety. The speaker asked the committee to decline the application.[1]

The minutes record the speaker’s objections but do not include a response from staff or the applicants on those specific claims.[1]
