A free tax clinic is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 6, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Denman Back Hall, according to a notice in this week’s Grapevine.[1]
The notice says CRA and Service Canada representatives can provide in-person support, including help with tax slips, benefit questions and personal taxes. Limited volunteer tax filing is available after visitors check in with a CRA representative.[1]
The service is one-on-one and first come, first served. The notice advises visitors to bring government-issued identification and says having notices of assessment and tax slips can save time.[1]
