The Denman Island Waste Management Committee is reminding residents to put garbage in critter-proof containers, according to a notice in this week’s Grapevine.[1]
The notice says garbage bags must have a committee sticker, available at the general store or recycling depot, and a maximum weight of 40 pounds.[1]
The committee is listed on the agenda for the Denman Island Residents Association meeting on Monday, August 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the back hall. The notice adds: “Change is afoot.”[1]
