ADIMS Winter Shoreline Cleanup Completed

The Association for Denman Island Marine Stewards (ADIMS) completed a Winter Shoreline Cleanup from January to April 2021, collecting approximately 6-8 metric tons of marine debris including plastics and predator nets. The cleanup was funded by Fisheries and Oceans Canada as a one-time initiative responding to winter storm debris accumulation. The collected debris will be recycled by Ocean Legacy.
