Central Saanich fires linked to discarded cigarettes

Central Saanich firefighters responded to a major brush fire and a residence fire involving bark mulch; both were attributed to discarded burning cigarettes. Two drivers in Victoria and Saanich were each ticketed $575 for mishandling burning cigarettes.
