CVRD Response to COVID-19 Pandemic

The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) has established an Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) to coordinate the response to the COVID-19 crisis. Measures include closure of sports and aquatic centres, libraries, playgrounds, and public facilities, as well as an open-burning ban to maintain air quality. The CVRD is working on reprioritizing budgets and supporting grassroots organizations through a Grant-in-Aid program.
