Nominations for qualified candidates for the Denman Island Local Trust Area and Hornby Island Local Trust Area trustee positions are open from September 4 to September 14, 2018. The general local election will be held on October 20, 2018, to elect two local trustees for each area for a four-year term. Same-day voter registration will be available. Mail ballot voting is also available for qualified electors.
