Denman Island Medical Clinic to Secure Service Contract and New Physicians

The Denman Island Medical Clinic is working to obtain a service contract for physician services with Island Health to ensure continued high-quality health care after Dr. Wilson's retirement at the end of 2022. Interest from at least two physicians has been reported, and allied health professionals including a clinic pharmacist, social worker, counsellor, First Nations Wellness Advocate, dietician, registered nurse, and physiotherapist are integrated or soon to be integrated into the clinic.
