Denman Island Readers’ and Writers’ Festival Changes Selection Process

Starting in 2020, the Denman Island Readers’ and Writers’ Festival will change from a first-come selection method to an audition process for local writers to present their work. Writers who did not read the previous year will audition and be juried by peers based on writing, presentation, and timing. The local Writers Group meets every third Sunday from September to June for practice.
