Denman Island Receives Childcare Space Funding

Comox Valley Schools received $992,520 in funding from the Government of British Columbia to construct a dedicated childcare facility on the Denman Island Community School site. The new facility will create 20 additional licensed childcare spaces for children aged 12 months to 5 years and is expected to be available by summer 2020. The project is a partnership with Blackberry Lane Children’s Centre to address the community's growing childcare needs.
