The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) is considering licensing some Denman Island beaches as parks for recreational use only. This would involve identifying beaches not leased or tenured for aquaculture or on Agricultural Reserve Land, consulting with the community and Indigenous groups, and obtaining approvals from provincial and regional authorities.
