Islands Trust Committee Discusses Short Term Rentals and Affordable Housing

The Islands Trust Local Trust Committee discussed issues including enforcement of short term vacation rentals, the farm plan draft bylaws, and affordable housing. They considered introducing temporary use permits for short term rentals and prioritized staff time for affordable housing applications. Further community consultation on the farm plan is planned. The next Trust meeting is scheduled for November 22 at 9:30 am in the Activity Centre.
