The Islands Trust Executive Committee forwarded a request for $15,000 for Secretariat Services to the Financial Planning Committee for inclusion in the draft 2027/28 budget. ^[1]

The committee initially recorded the request under motion EC-2026-097 after the Chief Administrative Officer noted a typo in the budget table. ^[1]

The minutes first stated that the table figure should have been $12,000 rather than $15,000, while the motion listed $15,000. ^[1]

Later in the meeting, the Director of Trust Area Services clarified that the requested amount was $15,000 and that the figure in the recommended resolution was incorrect; the committee then changed the motion to $15,000 by general consent. ^[1]
