K’ómoks First Nation Re-elects Chief Nicole Rempel and Elects Three Councillors

The K’ómoks First Nation held Chief and Council elections on January 6, 2019. Chief Nicole Rempel was re-elected for a second two-year term. Barbara Mitchell, Katherine Frank, and Richard Hardy were elected as Councillors. Chief Rempel outlined priorities including economic development, lands and resources, housing, culture, treaty negotiations, and strengthening relations with local municipalities.
