K’ómoks Treaty Negotiations to Conclude with Public Open Houses

The K’ómoks First Nation, British Columbia, and Canada are nearing the conclusion of treaty negotiations. Public open houses are scheduled in September 2022 in Comox, Union Bay, Sayward, and a virtual session to inform the public about the proposed treaty, which aims to create jobs, promote economic development, increase housing supply, support tourism, and encourage infrastructure investments.
