Elected representatives from the Salish Sea islands, including 22 trustees from the Islands Trust and three San Juan County councilors, have written an open letter urging Prime Minister Trudeau to abandon the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion project due to environmental risks, increased tanker traffic, and threats to local economies and orca populations.
