A referendum will be held on November 27 to decide whether the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) can enter the service area to install fiber-optic internet on Denman and Hornby Islands. A 'Yes' vote will allow CVRD to borrow about $770,000 for installation costs, to be repaid over 10 years via property tax charges.
