There have been repeated reports of dogs harassing wildlife on Denman Island, including a pregnant doe killed by an uncontrolled dog. The Wildlife Advisory Committee reminds dog owners of legal responsibilities and consequences under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and the Wildlife Act.
