Vigil for 215 Children Lost at Kamloops Residential School

About 60 people attended a vigil on June 2 at the Arts Centre to commemorate the 215 children who died at the Kamloops Residential School. The event included a welcome in the K’ómoks language, candle lighting, a moment of silence, and a commemorative display. Funds raised will be donated to Indigenous healing centers.
