Advice on Winterizing Beehives and Supporting Pollinators

Beekeepers are advised to prepare their hives for winter by checking for diseases, monitoring varroa mite levels, ensuring sufficient food stores, and adjusting hive size. Gardeners are encouraged to plant late summer and fall flowers to support pollinators during scarce food periods.
