B.C. Ferries Holds Community Meetings on Denman and Hornby Islands

In late May, B.C. Ferries staff and facilitators held meetings with 170 people on Denman Island and 90 on Hornby Island to discuss the Denman East terminal project, summer schedules, and other community concerns. Key themes included traffic safety, desire for a direct Buckley Bay-Hornby route, retaining trees at Denman East terminal, and travel certainty for residents. A detailed report is forthcoming.
