BC Ferries announces planned vessel changes

BC Ferries agreed to a series of planned changes affecting Hornby–Denman and Denman–Buckley Bay service: the Quinitsa is to operate on Route 22 in summer 2023, the Kahloke is to assist the Baynes Sound Connector on Route 21, and the Baynes Sound Connector is to be expanded to at least 70 cars in fiscal 2024 or 2025. The plan also includes electric conversion of the Baynes Sound Connector and a new Island Class ferry on Route 22 in 2026.
