BC Ferries Terminal Development Plan Consultation
infrastructure · November 15-16, 2017 · Hornby Island Community Hall; Denman Island Activity Centre
BC Ferries is preparing Terminal Development Plans for Denman East (Gravelly Bay) and Hornby Island terminals focusing on improving safety, efficiency, and customer experience. Public drop-in consultation sessions will be held on November 15 at Hornby Island Community Hall and November 16 at Denman Island Activity Centre from 4 to 7 p.m. Feedback can also be provided online. The plans are expected to be finalized in 2018.
This is the archive, not the newspaper. Between 2018 and 2026 this site compiled these items automatically from public community sources — chiefly The Islands Grapevine, regional news feeds and community groups. They were not written by a reporter and were not held to the standards this publication now applies. The archive is kept because it is a useful dated record of what happened on Denman, and it is labelled because pretending otherwise would be the first thing we would tell you not to trust. Current reporting is at The Denman Firestarter.
