The Beaufort Watershed Stewards oppose the Natural Glacial Waters bottling plant's application for a 30-year groundwater extraction license of five million litres per day on Berray Rd. They cite lack of sufficient scientific data on potential impacts to local aquifers, fish migration, salinity, oyster operations, and domestic wells, and have sent a letter of opposition to MLA Josie Osborne.
