Changes to Fire Season Activity Restrictions on Denman Island

During the fire season from April 15 to October 15, certain high-risk activities such as hydro brushing and chainsaw work are now permissible during high fire danger ratings if conducted away from combustible materials and on fire-smart properties. However, a fire danger rating of Extreme still entails a total ban on such activities.
