Coho Landing Cooperative Affordable Housing Project Progress and Challenges

The Coho Landing Cooperative on Denman Island has successfully rezoned land for 15 affordable housing units and members have built homes themselves using sustainable practices including rainwater catchment and compost toilets. The project faced regulatory challenges but serves as a model for community-based affordable housing.
