Comox Valley Arts Council to Present GO FISH Immersive Screenings

community · July 27 to August 6, 2023 · Jeffrey Rubinoff Sculpture Park, Hornby Island; United Church, Denman Island

Comox Valley Arts Council is presenting GO FISH, a three-screen immersive video installation about the annual herring migration in the Salish Sea. Free public screenings will be held July 27-30 at the Jeffrey Rubinoff Sculpture Park on Hornby Island and August 3-6 at the United Church on Denman Island. An artist event is scheduled for July 28 at the sculpture park.

This is the archive, not the newspaper. Between 2018 and 2026 this site compiled these items automatically from public community sources — chiefly The Islands Grapevine, regional news feeds and community groups. They were not written by a reporter and were not held to the standards this publication now applies. The archive is kept because it is a useful dated record of what happened on Denman, and it is labelled because pretending otherwise would be the first thing we would tell you not to trust. Current reporting is at The Denman Firestarter.
