Concerns raised about lack of permits for shipbreaking facilities in BC

Concerned Citizens of Baynes Sound published an article highlighting that shipbreaking and vessel retrofit facilities in BC operate without required permits, oversight, or hazardous waste containment plans, unlike small projects such as sheds which require permits and inspections. They call for government accountability and proper regulation to protect public health and the environment.

This is the archive, not the newspaper.
