Concerns Raised Over Public Access Trail at Komas Ranch

Local residents have expressed concerns about plans to create a public access trail to sensitive archaeological sites at Komas Ranch, which could increase foot traffic and disturb the sites. The issue is linked to an expiring Comox Valley Regional District land use contract and is part of an Islands Trust rezoning process involving consultation with K’ómoks First Nation.
