Denman Feeding Denman Initiative Encourages Local Food Sustainability

The Denman Island Seed Savers Group and Growers & Producers Alliance promote local food sustainability by encouraging seed saving, expanding gardens, sharing harvests, and buying local produce. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted vulnerabilities in food supply chains, prompting calls for increased local food production and community cooperation.
