The 16th annual Denman Island Readers & Writers Festival opened on July 20, 2018, featuring sessions with authors including Wedlidi Speck, Marina Endicott, Emily St. John Mandel, and others. The festival includes solo sessions, panels, workshops, and local writers' readings.
