General Store 10th Anniversary Ownership Celebrations

The Denman Island General Store is celebrating the 10th anniversary of ownership by Daryl McLoughlin, who took over in July 2010. The store has been a community staple since 1908 and is a significant local employer with a staff of twelve. Celebrations are planned for July 7th and 11th with prizes, draws, and giveaways.

This is the archive, not the newspaper. Between 2018 and 2026 this site compiled these items automatically from public community sources — chiefly The Islands Grapevine, regional news feeds and community groups.
