The Hornby Island Community Kitchen, hosted by Joe King Ballfield and the Hornby Island Athletic Association, serves meals three times a week and is seeking fundraising support for kitchen renovations. Campaigns are underway on GoFundMe and Facebook to raise funds for upgrades, with a goal of $10,000 to start renovations. A board meeting is scheduled for November 19 to discuss fundraising.
