Hornby tower consultation criticized

Residents objected to Rogers’ proposed tower, raising concerns about public consultation, its proposed location near the old firehall and affordable-housing land, environmental effects and fire risk. Rogers’ representative reportedly declined to delay the process and said in January 2023 that in-person public meetings would not be held, citing federal procedures; the article also reports that the Hornby Antenna Siting Model was adopted by the Local Trust Committee on September 9, 2023.
