Islands Trust Statement on Kamloops Residential School Findings

The Islands Trust Council issued a statement on May 27, 2021, acknowledging the discovery of 215 lost children at the Kamloops Indian Residential School site. The statement expressed solidarity with the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc community and committed to supporting Truth and Reconciliation efforts.
