Kaleidoscope Fire Destroys Building on Northwest Road

A large fire consumed a 5600 sq. ft building at 1151 Northwest Road, the largest structural fire in Denman Island's history. The fire department responded quickly with 27 volunteers and support from neighboring areas, focusing on defensive tactics to contain the blaze and protect surrounding properties. The fire was declared out by 6:36 PM, with ongoing investigation into its cause.
