Miracle Beach Wedding Parking Issue and Event
community · July 29, 2007 · Miracle Beach Provincial Park
A wedding took place at Miracle Beach Provincial Park with a 1970s theme. The parking pay box was locked due to vandalism, preventing payment. Some picnickers initially occupied the reserved covered picnic area but relocated after being asked. The wedding and reception proceeded successfully.
This is the archive, not the newspaper. Between 2018 and 2026 this site compiled these items automatically from public community sources — chiefly The Islands Grapevine, regional news feeds and community groups. They were not written by a reporter and were not held to the standards this publication now applies. The archive is kept because it is a useful dated record of what happened on Denman, and it is labelled because pretending otherwise would be the first thing we would tell you not to trust. Current reporting is at The Denman Firestarter.

One longhaired wedding party maestro with a camera scurried around attempting to hustle the invasive picnickers out of the shelter... The wedding went well.” — The Islands Grapevine – January 27th, 2022 (January 27th, 2022)
