Old School Heat Pump Fundraising Nears Goal

The Old School Committee and Denman Island Climate Action Network are fundraising to replace the oil furnace at the Old School with an energy-efficient heat pump costing approximately $30,000. As of June 26, 2025, $23,750 has been raised. A final fundraising push will take place at the Saturday market on June 28, including sales of donated items by spinners and weavers.
