Province of BC Seizes Property from Victoria Cannabis Buyers Club Landlord

On May 11, 2026, the Province of British Columbia filed civil forfeiture documents to seize the property at 1625 Quadra Street, Victoria, from the landlord of the Victoria Cannabis Buyers Club (VCBC). The seizure follows raids in 2023 and 2026. The BC Solicitor General also filed a Certificate of Judgment against a VCBC board member's home to collect $3.2 million in fines. VCBC has filed a judicial review challenging the fines and raids.
