RCMP warn of fraudulent social media posts

Comox Valley RCMP are warning residents about false social media posts claiming links to police investigations, missing persons, wanted individuals and other public safety concerns. The warning is relevant to island residents who rely on regional police information.
This is the archive, not the newspaper.
