Recycling Depot to Accept Flexible Plastic Packaging

Starting September 22, the Denman Island Recycling Depot will accept a new category of plastic called Flexible Plastic Packaging, including items like chip bags, pasta bags, bubble wrap, and frozen food zipper-lock bags, as part of a pilot project with Merlin Plastics to recover and recycle more plastic resin.
