The Taylor’s Checkerspot Butterfly Recovery Project continues habitat enhancement, captive rearing, release, monitoring, and public outreach to restore populations in British Columbia, including Denman Island and Helliwell Provincial Park. The project involves multiple government agencies, conservation groups, and volunteers, with funding from various environmental organizations.
