Mike Van Santvoord, publisher of The Islands Grapevine, was removed from the DenmanWorks Board and fired from managing the visitdenmanisland.ca website without cause, actions that were contrary to B.C. Labour laws. These actions followed the publication of a story about Bronwyn Schuster's misconduct.
