Two drivers fined for discarding lit cigarettes

A Victoria driver and a Saanich driver were each ticketed $575 under the Wildfire Act for dropping or mishandling a burning cigarette. The article also reports that a Central Saanich brush fire and a residence mulch fire were attributed to discarded cigarettes.
